Status of Yoper?

I been wondering why the Yoper #irc channel is always dead.
I don't see nothing new on their website, no updates no nothing?
Im just double thinking before I reinstall it again.

I guess the new servers are supposed to arrive any moment and so is Yoper 2.2. When? I don't know. But not too much feedback from core developers - you are right here.
On Yoper-Core mailing list there are some news once in a while on Yoper status. But no good news arrived yet.
I probably wouldn't recommend installing Yoper right now either cuz distro status is rather uncertain. But still I believe it's gonna change soon and Yoper page as well as the repositories and the forum will recurrect from dead

When the site went down i did quit yoper and went to gentoo but then i destroyed it with emerge -U world. So now i'm back with Yoper but very very concerned about the state of the distro.

If the site is not up by the time i really need it, i think its definatly time to change distros and this time i won't look back.

I'm thinking of installing Yoper 2.1 on my new computer, do you think this a good idea with the curant state of Yoper's website?

As soon as I see more activity of Yoper I will be back.
But I'm gonna retry it to see how my updates will go.
