Installation of Bodhi Linux crashed
I run Mint 9 LXDE in my old Sony Vaio. I read great reviews on Bodhi linux about being a great light weight distro. I decided to give it a try and installation crashed, could not do it. After that the laptop did not boot, I had to reinstall Mint 9 LXDE. Has anyone had a similar problem with Bodhi linux? I am not trying it again, I am just curious, I'll stick with Mint.

Hello and Welcome.
These things happen sometimes, it could have been a corrupt download or a bad burn to disc. Don't let this scare you off, keep on dabbling and find other things you like too.I do not respond to private messages asking for Linux help, Please keep it on the forums only.

1G at least!
Next release of Bodhi will require at least 1 gig of ram, I am glad it crashed after all. Not so minimalistic anymore.
