To elaborate a little further. Puppy uses devx to compile in Puppy Linux. Think of it as gmake, or make in other distros. It is the same as the build-essential tool in Debian. devx comes as a devx.sfs file. .sfs files are added via Puppy Boot Manager in Menu on frugal installs. If you have a full install instead. Use the Puppy Google search engine and search for : installing .sfs in full install.
How did it go ?
