Locate CD through CLI
At my office we have no onsite servers, I am VNC'd into our linux backup server and I need to reformat it for a DR test we have friday.
The server is CentOS 5.0.2 and only has a CLI interface, and since I cannot just go look in the CD Drive (were in Texas Site is in Denver), or opening a ticket for the site to check. I would like to know how I would go about looking to see if the CD is in there through the terminal, so that way I can skip calling the site all together.
Please advise.
