I am stuck with a networking issue involving:

Ubuntu 11.04 Host Machine,
VMWare-Server-2.0.2 (patched)
and RESTORE-EE VM installed on the host.

I have issues arising in the following areas...

VM console control on the Host (Server requires Firefox 3.5 for the addon viewer, yet I time out and can only access the VM console from another PC on my network with Firefox 3.5)

Also I want to configure the VM to be on the same IP scheme as the Host, somehow accessible the same fashion the Host is accessible

any tips?
