EILUX - Isys/2011
Hello fellow forum members, I want to build my own Linux distro named EILUX/Isys2011. But I need some advice.
I have various kernels, but my intention is to go build on Kernel 2.1.44; which can use a lot of modification and improvement on a different way, as I want to try to implement a more BSD like layout. However, how do I create a basic booting image with this kernel on a harddisk, and how to replace the kernel with my version?
What I need is a basic console linux with ASH/BASH and my kernel running... does anyone have suggestions for me?
If so, how do I make a image of it, or do I write it raw to my harddisk of my laptop???
