I deleted somthing on the panel, and I do not know what it is called

well, I sure feel dumb. I was adding an object to the panel and fat fingered deleted the thing that connected to the wireless network, it had the bars showing connection strength (like the cell phone).

i do not know what it is called, otherwise i probably could have fix it by now. i feel like such a noob even though i have been using linux for over ten years... embarrassing...

i am using mint 10.

I'm not using Mint, but if you Right-click and choose Add to Panel', I think you're looking for the Notification Applet or something similar.
I'll give ya one guess how I found that out!

i tried ever other on but that, I cannot believe i went two weeks without it and admitted to my wife (a diehard mac user) that i messed up the computer
