Hey there, elija!
Did you make sure that SATA support is compiled in? Making sure that they have the (*) beside them, as opposed to a module (M)?
Also, thee seems to be a need for SCSI support, as well.Jay

Thanks jayd512,
I thought that I'd compiled in the sata support but I'll check tonight and I'll add in the scsi and see what happens. If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)

Well, I have a working crux install
just the base, but it still feels like a victory
It didn't matter what I chose in make menuconfig, I still got the same damn error so eventually I decided to rename . the .config file and what do you know, I got a completely different set of defaults!
I'm going to start again to see if I can figure out where I fouled up.If we hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate! (Zapp Brannigan)
