    Hello and Welcome!

Is it available via your package manager?
    Code:
    pisi install isowriter
Here is the wiki page for using pisi: Pisi CLI Usage - PardusWiki

    That worked. Thanks.

Unfortunately, I'm getting 'Operating system not found'.

Are there any utilities available to format the USB device?

    What exactly is your goal?
Are you trying to make a bootable USB device?
If so, have you looked at either Unetbootin or PenDriveLinux?

To boot and setup Linux on a machine with no DVD drive.

I am in the process of setting up unebootin and will look at the other url you mention.

Thanks for the responses so far....
