Hello, I am new here, and i wanted to know if i use lfs to create a distro using SlackWare (and the lfs book) would it be considered based of of SlackWare or would it be a totally new distro.

Hi and welcome to the forums. If you are building LFS from within Slackware, then you are not building a Slackware based distro, you are just using it to provide the tools required to build the new distro.
