fresh install - video problem

Greetings,

I have gotten a successful install of yoper with lilo.
Upon boot, I get the yoper splash screen as though
everything is normal. It counts down from 3 to zero,
and then the screen goes black. Seems as though I
am having some kind of video issue. Can someone
point me in the right direction to address this issue.

Try changing vga mode from 791 (or whatever it is set) to "normal".

How do I change the video resolution ? Specifically please.

I do not think you have gotten a successful install. It sounds to me like lilo has not installed right, and if I remember right, if you boot the install disk, it has a repair lilo or grub mode there during the install.
