I have installed Calculate, a Gentoo clone, and am wondering after changing my mirrors what else I need to do get a be a variation of Gentoo.
Of course, the kernel would be replaced, but is there anything else ?

I've not used either Gentoo or Calculate, but after looking at what is installed or available to them, it looks like changing mirrors should be all you need to do.
The Calculate Beta that was released earlier this month is based heavily on the latest Gentoo stable.
