    (Lubuntu) Custom 'Start' Button

    Okay, I gooogled around a bit and couldn't figure this out. How can I customize the LXDE start button so it isn't a blue LXDE symbol?

    You should be able to right-click on the button and select "properties". From that form, you should be able to set/reset the icon used for that button.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
