    New to Linux & Need help with a Distro (elementaryOS)


    Hey, recently, I've replaced windows 7 with elementaryOS onto one of my old laptops (Acer Apsire e1) and had no trouble booting it/running it. But now, when I try to run it I keep getting the starting up screen and then this:

    and after typing help:
    Z1nu1PAON_yMjGrHygwm2cZ5nVh7CRZ9pGcZFrKjy5I.jpg
    can anyone help me fix this problem?

    Are you saying you installed elementaryOS to your hard drive and used it for some time and now have this problem?
    What changes were made to hardware/software immediately prior to this happening?
    This is a common occurence so I would suggest you google 'ubuntu boots to busybox initramfs' and also post what happened prior to this happening. elementaryOS is an ubuntu derivative so you will get more info using Ubuntu in the search.
