    SMP linux support available or not what does it mean?


    Hi All,

    We know what SMP is?
    In SMP all of the processing units share the same memory and everything-else.
    Now if we say SMP linux support available or not,what is it i mean whats the significance of Linux in it......
    I can't get the significance of Linux in SMP linux support available or not,Please elaborate on it.

    Your question is not very clear. Linux supports SMP out-of-the-box these days ( and has had for a long time ). Please clarify what you are getting at.
    Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
