Exclamation Java not installing on DSL!

    Hi everyone!
I'm working on DSL and I'm running it as my OS of a virtual machine. I'm using Xen hypervisor.
I have to work with tomcat on DSL and for that I need to install java.
    But it's just not installing!
I've tried a lot of things, and I've been stuck on this for 4 days.
    Any help will be appreciated!

Please elaborate on how you are trying to install Java on DSL, and what errors you are getting during the installation process. Also, if you did not get errors at installation time, have you looked in /usr/java to see if there is stuff installed there? Also, are you trying to install the OpenJDK version of Java, or the "official" Oracle version?
Sometimes, real fast is almost as good as real time.
