    Question Error when joining Samba server (CentOS 5.0) to Active Directory 2003


    Hi all,

    When I tried to join my Samba linux server (CentOS 5.0) to the Active Directory (2003) via command, I found error display as below.

    [root(at)centos5 samba]# net ads join -U Administrator(at)sample.org
    Host is not configured as a member server.
    Invalid configuration. Exiting....

    (I use "(at)" instead of the symbol because otherwise I can't post)

    --> so, what does this error report mean ? how to configure the host (CentOS ?) as a member server ? Please help me. Thanks a lot.
