Update: Current situation:
Installed version of libdvdcss 1_24 (from the rpm you indicated before)
Kaffeine detects that I have a DVD in my drive, and even shows me the title of the DVD. But all it shows for video is a blue rectangle, and no audio.Be happy. Life is too short to be unhappy!

Hmm, it seems to have deleted the file ut was complaining about...hmmm.
Have you tried the .rpm LondoJowo sugested?
