    Uninstalling programs in fedora core 5

    hey,
    i have been using fc5 for about 3 to 4 weeks, and i installed azuerus last week but want to uninstall it.
    So if anyone can help me please, because i am trying to install different program and it tells me that it is installed because azureus is already there, so it thinks it is the same program. im not 100% sure on what to do

    How exactly did you go about installing azureus? Did you use an rpm, install through yum, source?

    Alright, as root, type:
    Code:
    rpm -qa | grep azureus
    This will give you a result for azureus. From here, type:
    Code:
    rpm -e <result from above>
