Opera Plugin errors? Do this...
You'll also get errors during Opera install if you don't have the motif libraries. Just search "motif" in Xandros Networks, then install the libmotif and lesstif packages under Expert. If you see no results under Expert, click on Edit> Select Application Sources > and check the box for Debian Unsupported Sites.
Another thing that seems to make things go much smoother in Opera on Xandros is making the usr/lib/mozilla the first listed source for plugins, and the usr/lib/opera the second source. You can change the path to the sources and their orderby going to Tools > Advanced > Content > Plugin Options then clicking change path, then select the path usr/lib/mozilla and hit the up button until it's on top of the list. Do not remove anything there, just switch the order.
Hope that helps anyother newbies like myself.
p.s. if you do these fixes after you have Opera installed, you may not get sound in web pages still, you have to uninstall Opera and install the motif packagesthen reinstall Opera.
