    no acceptable C compiler found in$path


    Trying to install kb3 as a dvd burning app, gets through most of thi install, but then I get this. I have also seen this error on other apps I try to install. Suggestions?

    checking for gcc... no
    checking for cc... no
    checking for cc... no
    checking for cl... no
    configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH

    oh man, I pulled a noob didn't I? Should have searched the forum a little better, I misspelled my search from earlier.. sorry guys..

    disregard. gonna grab gcc from xandros network and install. If I get new problems, will be back.

    You must check for c compiler

    Generally the env variables are correctly set up> I saw this problem and when I check for the c compiler I don't find any one> so I updated my pakages>

    just install gcc compiler
    you can get it here
    http://gcc.gnu.org/releases.html
