How to connect my laptop Dell Inspiron 6000 through wireless networking
I have been using winxp prof to surf the net just fine through my wireless networking at home. But not with KANOTIX-2005-04 live CD on the same machine (Laptop Dell Inspiron 6000) . Never be able to connect into my wireless networking even once. When I run iwconfig all were 0 and 0 nothing was detected. My laptop Dell Inspiron 6000 has Dell Wireless 1370 WLAN Mini-PCI Card built-in. I dont know what I need to do in order get connected with my wireless network. ...mmm...i may end up using winxp prof everytime I want to get on the internet. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post the output of
?Code:lspci | grep -i network
If I am not mistaking, this card is based on the "broadcom 4318" chipset. So you'll be able to get it working quite easily using the a combination of NDISWRAPPER and the windows drivers for the card."To express yourself in freedom, you must die to everything of yesterday.
