xandros /win xp dual boot
hi, i am new to linux. we built a new amd computer using asus m board,and has a 160 gb sata hdd when i try to install from the disk it says no hdd detected. do i need a driver or newer version of xandros?
i F8 the win to boot from cd everything was good till the hdd issue, thanks, dakota

Think you are on the right lines re driver, see this http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Hardware/sata.html , it has a couple of possible solutions.
