    linux xp 2006

    ive got an old DE:: OPTIPLEX GX1 with a 450 processor. ive just installed linux xp as the computer is just for my workshop and its only small spec but ideal for what i need it for (diagrams and plans )etc
    but now im getting a box saying it needs activating.but ive no serial number or anything. where can i get the number from

    Linux XP is simply not free. It cost 40$ (US).

    So you can buy a serial number if you want to :
