how to switch as a root in freespire
Hello everybody, I am using freespire the problem is i want to change the permission through command line and it is only possible if you r a root.
now when i am doing su then it asking for a password, so what should i do because while installing freespire it does not ask for a password.

enter the password of normal user you created while installation. FreeSpire is Debian based. use 'sudo' for getting root preveligies.
casperIt is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I had the same problem, and I think I went into user manager (from Launch) and unchecked the enable root user and gave root a password. Something like that anyway.
