CNR has a major prob.It cannot save my proxy settings even though i specify.I save and restart CNR but it remains empty..the only way to keep my settings now is to locate the config file for CNR and edit it.
can someone give me a step by step guide on how im gonna reach the CNR folder and edit the config file ?There is no knowledge that is not power

Exit and close cnrand make sure all cnr processes are dead
Then (i think) edit $HOME/.kde/share/config/cnrproxyrc
change the proxy mode to1 and fill in the settings
restart cnr

yo dude i cannot find cnrproxyrc...i've browsed to the specify dir you mentioned but i find
cnrdeamonrc,cnrinstallerrc,cnrtrayiconsrc and cnrwarehouserc !There is no knowledge that is not power

I do not have it installed but that is what I had jotted down in my *spire notes.
Maybe ask over at the freespire forums.
