Very new here and to linux. Am trying out Austrumi which looks very nice and is a lot faster to load than the Bill Gates offering. I am running it from the cd and would like to know if its possible to save network details etc when shutting down. Its a pain to have to redo them all each time. Also I cannot get my Brother laser to work, it seeš it but I am not sure what to use as a driver in cups.
Any help would be much appreciated. If I get on with this or any other distro how do I get it to dual boot with winXP, got to because of the Sage accounts packege I use.I have never tried to get anythig else onto the comp so am concerned that I may screw up XP.
