Hi all!
I am quite new to Linux and I have installed DSL on one of my machines.
I have been looking around a bit on developing in Linux and got realy interested in the GTK+ developing kit. I realy loke Gnome.
I have been looking in to get it working in DSL but as I see it I have to compile sorce code for GTK+ to make it work in DSL. Correct me if Im wrong.
Now my queastion:
If I want to be able to start develop right after my Linux installation or with a couple of "simple" downloadings with precompiled tools, what distribution should I look in to then?
Is there a distro with any good developing enviroments?
