    You just enter it and press enter, it will not show that you are typing but it will work, given that you know your root password.

    Hate to rain on your parade once u have this working, but thats an OLD DSL ISO, current version is 1.3 , Next time check a Distros Homepage, not some lame composite website thats out of date. http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/index.html

    Up to date Distro = less bugs so yeah. And a side note when installing it to HDD make sure the partition is Fat32 or a Linux Partition, NTFS doesent go so well IE linux cant write to it but will try anyways.
