    You just enter it and press enter, it will not show that you are typing but it will work, given that you know your root password.

    Up to date Distro = less bugs so yeah. And a side note when installing it to HDD make sure the partition is Fat32 or a Linux Partition, NTFS doesent go so well IE linux cant write to it but will try anyways.
