How do I install programs offline on Zenwalk?
I am looking to install Zenwalk 4.2, but the computer I am installing it on won't have Internet access. Also I plan on installing new programs on it, so what kind of packages would I want to download for it (on another computer and transferring the files, of course)? Would downloading the Slackware packages work fine on Zenwalk? I've read it's based on Slackware.
This question is probably really dumb but I don't want to waste a CD-R on a distro I can't install packages on.

Most Slackware packages will work with Zenwalk.
You can get Zenwalk packages from the Zenwalks repositories and there are some Zenwalk specific packages available from LinuxPackages.netoz
