another bootup problem (newbie as well!)
Hi,
I installed xandros4 this morning and everything was fine during the first boot up.. i used the OS for a while.. even downloaded and installed service pack 1.. after i restarted my system.. after the "starting sytem" screen.. I have a screen with "nVIDIA"'s logo in center.. it stays there forever and never goes beyond that.. btw my video card IS nVIDIA and i had the same screen on the first boot up.. but only for a few seconds... can anyone please help me fix that problem?
thank u very much in advance!

maybe try to reconfigure your X server or reinstall your nvidia drivers from a command prompt. either:
if you are running xorg which i assume you are or:Code:dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
if you are running xfree86Code:dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
both as root.--Erik
