Best Mini-Linux distro
Hey all,
I have an old 486 laptop (325mg hdd, 16mg RAM, floppy drive, no modem or ethernet card). What options are there for installing linux on it? I would like to use it for C/C++ programming, maybe get a network card for it so I could play with some basic networking stuff.
What is the best distro that I can install on this all via floppy disk?

Does it by chance have USB available? You would have a larger amount of options available if it does.
If not after you get the network card you can create a floppy to boot from network and do a network based install.

Take a look at the link in my signature - there are lots of resources there to get you started.
