USB ADSL Modem, Damn Small Linux
I am totally new to linux ,but being fed up with the BSOD I thought I,d D/L
DSL and learn some linux. It all seems to work but I cant use Fiirefox etc without enabling my USB ADSL modem. I have a Voyager 105 attached to the pc via a 5 way usb port and I just dont have a clue how to go about setting it up in linux.
can you point me to some text to help me out? Last time I programmed anything was in Texas Instruments extended basic so the terminology will have to be in tyro-speak for me to "get it"
TIA ,
WILT
- 03-31-2007 #2I used to have the Voyager 105 and got it to work quite well with the eciadsl package. Find the download and forum/instructions here.

Thanks Peteh,
I,m such a tyro I am not sure if I can find, let alone alter all, these references - but thats what its all about eh?. Thanks for posting I,ll soldier on and report my progress,if any !.Its definitely a different mind set required after
being brain numbed by windows.I think I,ll find it more enjoyable in the long run.
