    DSL Boot up

I have installed Damn Small Linux on my laptop, (yay) and the loader is GRUB. Now, when I start it up, (everytime) it asks for a screen resolution, this is annoying, so, can anyone tell me how to make it just go to the start up? Thanks in Advance!

    Hmm

What happens if you do nothing?
when dsl boots, grub lists a few options and if you do nothing it will proceed to boot after 10 or so seconds and use what you entered when you setup the x server..perhaps I do not understand what is happening for you. there is no splash picture so you get to see everything that is happening while the system boots. you can reduce the number of seconds but it is not recommended

    You'll Find it here---

I'm REALLY a newbee to linux but screwing around with it over the past few days has been a learning experience...

I install grub-splash(a pic for the splash screen) and had to edit the
    /boot/grub/menu.list

It is there that you can remove the other screen size options....

At least I think so....good luck, glynn
