    Question PHLAK on Macintosh?

    Hey folks.

I was talking to a friend about Linux and he referred PHLAK to me. I have a first generation Intel Macbook, 2.0 GHz with 512 MB of RAM. On it I have Mac OSX and a partition for Ubuntu. Subsequently I downloaded PHLAK and burned it as an ISO. When it came to booting from the CD on start-up it would reach the 1.5 stage where it asks you to wait while the GRUB loads and it would just sit there. I waited a good 15 minutes and it wouldn't progress.

Is it possible to use PHLAK on a Mac? I was under the impression that since the newer Macs are Intel-based they would run most things normally run on PCs. If any one could help answer this question or provide any suggestions as to how I could go about this I would greatly appreciate it.

Do you mean you want the PHLAK tools for OS X?

No, I want to be able to boot off of the PHLAK LiveCD on my Macintosh Laptop. But If there is no way to do so then Yes, I guess it would like to know any equivalent programs I can get for Mac OSX or Ubuntu.
