    VirtualCity MCNLive CD; Need BASH help

    I'm completely new at Linux. today was my first run at it. To put it simply: i don't know BASH, and would like to know how to get the GUI running. I know that it is just another form of Mandriva if that helps any.

    Basically, I'm logged in, staring at a bash command line.

    I've tried google, but apparently everyone assumes I'm past this part, and tells me how to do other things.

    Any help would be severely appreciated

    start x (enter)


    if this doesn't work go to the install area and read help for this on this boards 1st page
