How to install puppy linux onto compact flash of 512 MB ?

Hi ,

I have downloaded the new version of puppy linux 2.16.1 .
I need to install it in a 512B usb comoact flash drive ..
How should i do it ..?

download an ISO of the Newest version and boot to the CD then put your flash drive in the USB slot once Puppy has booted then there will be a Puppy universal installer under setup on the main menu. That will ask what type of installer and of course you select USB thumb drive and select the defaults through the wizard and then a final screen will come asking you if you are sure say yes and it will copy itself to the usb drive and then you are done.
