Yes, meaning in the limitation (if any) of any free software or the possible total number in the repositories.
Also the possibilities of downloading from outside sources from tarballs - which I yet to understand how to do.
Compatibility with other distros that don't have RPM if I were to want to use certain saved personal text and so forth there.

Hey u can always install a .rpm software on other distro too,,,like a debian based distro(for example ubuntu). For this purpose u'll have to install alien ,,,,and read the readme files regarding help on converting a .rpm to .deb.
Also u need to be a litttle more specific aand clear about ur questions.
