    trouble with booting frugal install

    hi,
it took me a couple of hours to get from a frugal install that went all the way through, to a successful boot of a frugal install. I already had GRUB installed from getting Xubuntu running and dual booting with XP. I think that may have messed with the install scripts, because I had to edit my menu.lst by hand from Xubuntu in order to boot into DSL 3.3. Even now, it doesn't look quite the same in the boot up process, but I do get there.

what are some of your system details?
