Has anyone by any chance had any success installing either Vmware Workstation or Vmware Player in any of the smaller distros by any chance?

I've tried a few with no luck so would be interested to know if anyone's managed it and what distro they were running

As an afterthought ... getting my rt8187 usb wireless lan to install in them's also a pita too!
