Resolution Problems with Slax on usb
I'm using slax on a usb stick, booting from a floppy with m$-dos on it.
(cd \boot\dos\linux.bat... you know the drill.)
Since I am givin no 'boot:' prompt, I cant enter 'vga=789' (1024x768 with 24 bit I think) to set my resolution. I have to xconf before I startx and I sticks me with 640 by 480 at i think 16 bit. I have tried to change it thru the control panel but it only gives me that choice. How do I go about doing this?
Also, I would like to know how to use the 'toram' code so I can remove my thumb drive since I have no access to a boot prompt.Last edited by Penguins_Rox; 07-05-2007 at 06:36 PM. Reason: Thought of something else and didn't want to add another thread
