Yes, You do need a different version of Kororaa Linux in order to use AMD. Each processor has a different binary language of their own. It would make things too bulky to include the code for both architectures. All other questions can be answered via Kororaa Linux's homepage, or are left open to personal preference, I can not give you an answer for which is "the best" for anything.

Not really, both are the same architechture (x86), the Kororaa live cd should work just fine with both processors
