i sorta got a problem with my linux, ive copied it on to a disk and run on my other pc, but, when it finds it, it runs a DR-DOS and then ask for drives and that, so how do i install linux on my pc, oh and i have win xp installed on it

How did you burn it to disk? Did you burn it as an image or did you make a bootable data disk?
The .iso file should be burned as an image rather than dragged to disk.

i used nero to make a bootable disk, and my pc has booted it and i used another program to get the files extracted

You'll need to burn another disk. Just take the original .iso file, select the "burn disc image" or "Burn CD Image" option in Nero. If you use this method the disc will be bootable and ready to use.
