When I use alien to convert a tar package to debian, where does the deb package go? I thought it would show up in my Home Folder. Thanks a lot...

    Alien in Mepis 6.0


    When I use alien to convert a tar package to debian, where does the deb package go?

    I thought it would show up in my Home Folder.

    it think should be in the same location as the tar is located

    Be aware that you are supposed to use a Slackware tar.gz for the convert, not a source tar.gz
