Caos Linux creating XFS takes AGES.
Writing XFS to SDA1... 30minutes. Writing XFS to SDA2... went for an hour and then I thought 'this is rediculous!', so I tried with EXT3 file system.
Writing EXT3 to SDA1... 30 minutes. Writing EXT3 to SDA2.. I let it run all night, and when I woke up it was STILL GOING.
I decided I'd download it again, MD5sums were fine (according to K3B) and I wrote to a cd. I let it run and then went to school.
When I got home (about 1 1/2 hours ago) it said:
Writing XFS to SDA1... Done.
Writing XFS to SDA2... Done.
Writing XFS to SDA3... Done.
Writing XFS to SDA5...
And it is STILL going. What is wrong? Surely it doesn't take THAT long!
