In the best case you use your last backup.
If there is none, then you can try your luck with
TestDisk - CGSecurity / PhotoRec - CGSecurity
and see what can be recovered.

Try Testdisk for Partitions and Photorec for files. Both of these handy tools come installed on the Parted Magic distro.

Check the Parted-Magic Live-CD.
During boot-up, there is a DOS type menu intro,
which has an "Extras" menu tacked to the bottom.
