If you wish to make a live cd check out Linux-Live

The distro install would be up to yourself, whether you package everything - hardwarae detection etc. If you just want to clone it to another machine you can use dd or Partimage to copy the harddisk.
You can also check out various distro to see how they do it, all code is open source.
What I did with "my" Distro.
Write down EXACLY what commands you executed to install it.
Put all the commands in a Script.. and there is a Installer ^^
