I need general help

One day i was experimenting with yellow dog on the ps3, and i opened up an aplicatiion called enlightenment or something, but then my ps3 crashed and now when i boot up LINUX ( i get past the black terminal screen just fine) it has the same screen when i crashed the last time and i cant do anything.

Any help? please im desperate.

maybe you're stuck in the graphics environment: try
<ctrl><alt><backspace> to exit

enlightenment is a window manager, you should call it,
in lieu of any other, from your .xinitrc
