Linux ES 4
I had issue in regard to dual operating system
issue:Buffer I/o error on device hda1 logical block 0
buffer I/o error on deveice hda1 logical block 1
it repeating this above messg number wise fyi
I had install operating windows xp sp3 on theabove i had installed linux ES 4
I would able to see linux and widows but full booting of linux is not coming up for yourinformation. please throw your on the above issue.
sounds like your hard disk is going bad, i would back up any important data if I were you
when installing a dual boot environment, it is always best to install windows first as it will overwrite the MBR and make linux unbootable, you can fix this by using supergrubdisk to reinstall grub to MBR

I had install windows & afterwards linux i installed two three times withoutformating linux partition for yourinformation.
right now how I need to come out from this issue. please give me in stepwise so that i can comfortably come out of this issue.

After using supergurbdisk still the problem is perssistent. FYI
please provide us some suggestions for the issue
you need to reformat linux partition when you reinstall linux (most often the only exception is home partition), otherwise you will probably run into problems especially if you are switching between different distros and versions
