Kewl! I'll load it in a virtual machine and check it out. Feedback will be forthcoming. How do you think it should work (hardware-wise) with laptops, expecially considering WiFi/Bluetooth and other such cruft?
Cool, It only supports ethernet, so virtual boxes are great to run it in. Other than that, its a great operating system built with TLC. I have alot of time in it. You should also register on the forum and check out updates, or contribute. There is two contributors atm. IRC Channel: #shellinux <at> freenode
Yeah, its a good start for a 15 Year old coder :D
Well, when my grandson ( now 18 ) was 8, he re-wired his mom's (my daughter's) kitchen FM radio so it would receive transmissions from his toy walky-talky radio from the back yard. "Hey mom, can I have some lemonade?"... :-) Now, he designs and builds both rotary and fixed-wing autonomous UAV's, using Linux for the controller OS, and Arduino for the radio controls. He does all of the design (CAD stuff and such), development (including Linux kernel drivers/mods), and construction himself. So, do I think a 15yo can build their own Linux distribution? You betcha! :-) Welcome to the forums, and I hope we hear much more from you in the future!
thanks, your welcome on the irc freenode channel (#shellinux) and on the forum (on the website)
